Got Culture?

The August Wilson Center for African American Culture proudly presents a broad spectrum of dynamic programs and quality education rooted in the African American experience. Most of our performing arts, exhibitions and educational programming are funded through the generosity of private foundations, government agencies, businesses and individual contributors.

While providing a variety of programming and learning opportunities in Pittsburgh and beyond, the August Wilson Center remains focused on raising the funds necessary to complete a new $39.5 million state-of-the-art facility in Downtown's Cultural District.

Excitement is Building for the new cultural center opening in 2009. We invite you to explore the many ways you can give. See yourself at the Center of this landmark community effort by contributing to the August Wilson Center's Capital Campaign.
