The August Wilson Center has received two challenge grants to help us secure our Capital Campaign goal, as well as to stimulate $2 million in financial support from the African American community.

An African Proverb states "A single bracelet does not jingle". What is an African American Cultural Center without the support of the very community that inspired its existence?

We have waited so long and now the dream has finally become reality. A cultural center in downtown Pittsburgh that shares with people of all backgrounds and heritages what the African and African American cultures offers today, as well as which talents helped to shape it.

Although the August Wilson Center for African American Culture is complete, we are still in need of funds to finish paying for construction of the facility. We are asking for your support. Please make a donation to our capital campaign.
